7 Status Bar

7.1 Overview

The status bar at the bottom edge of the main window shows important status information at a glance. It also provides a button that lets you trigger an immediate processing run or cancel a running run.

7.2 Display Areas

7.2.1 Profiles

Shows the number of active and total profiles.

Format: Profiles: X/Y active

Value Meaning
X Number of enabled profiles
Y Total number of all profiles

Example: Profiles: 5/8 active means that 5 of 8 profiles are enabled.

7.2.2 Log Filter

Shows the number of log entries restricted by filters.

Format: Log filter: X

Value Meaning
0 No filter active, all entries are shown
>0 A filter is active, X entries are currently hidden

Tip: If you expect to see more entries, first check whether a filter is active.

7.2.3 Log Entries

Shows the total number of log entries across all tabs.

Format: Log entries: X

This number covers entries from all tabs of the log list:

  • Successful processing
  • Errors
  • No match
  • Postponed processing
  • Unreachable email folders

7.2.4 Status

Shows dynamic status information about the current program activity.

Possible displays:

Status Meaning
Ready Program is waiting for the next check interval
Checking… A processing run is currently active
Next check in… Countdown to the next scheduled run
Processing paused Processing is outside the configured time windows

7.3 Check Now

The Check now button in the lower right starts an immediate check of all active profiles, regardless of the scheduled interval. During a running run, the button changes to Cancel processing, which lets you end the operation.

Mode Button Effect
No run active Check now Starts an immediate processing run
Run active Cancel processing Cancels the current run

Tip: The Check now button is especially useful after a profile change so that you do not have to wait for the next scheduled interval.

7.4 Notification Bars Above the Log Area

Two additional bars can be shown above the log area when needed:

7.4.1 No Email Accounts Configured

A red bar appears if no email account has been set up yet or the existing accounts are configured incompletely. Clicking the bar opens the account management window directly.

7.4.2 Processing Paused

A brown bar appears when processing is outside the configured processing or business hours. During this pause no messages are processed; the program waits for the next allowed time.

7.5 Tips for Using the Status Bar
