80.3 Excel Report
80.3.1 Overview ¶
The Excel report summarizes processing activity for a selectable time range in a multi-sheet Excel file. It is suitable for review or auditing, periodic reporting, compliance evidence or simply for an overview of “What has the program done last week?”.
The report can be generated manually from the log tab or automatically on a schedule (see chapter 40.16).
80.3.2 Creating a report ¶
| Step |
Action |
| 1 |
In the main window, in the log area, click the Excel report… button in the toolbar |
| 2 |
In the report dialog, configure time range, output options and storage location |
| 3 |
Confirm with OK - the report is generated and (depending on option) opened automatically or sent by email |
80.3.3 Configuration ¶
Time range
| Option |
Description |
| Today |
Processings of the current day |
| Yesterday |
Processings of the previous day |
| Last X days |
Freely selectable time range (counting back in days) |
| From / To |
Specific date range |
| Unlimited |
All entries - with large logs the generation time is correspondingly long |
Output
| Option |
Description |
| Storage directory |
Target folder for the XLSX file |
| Date in file name |
If active: produces e.g. Report_2026-05-07.xlsx instead of just Report.xlsx |
| Open report after creation |
XLSX is opened in the default program (Excel) |
| Send report by email |
Instead of saving locally, the report is sent to configured recipients (see chapter 40.16) |
80.3.4 Content of the report ¶
The report contains 6 sheets:
| Sheet |
Content |
| Overview |
Summary - counts per category, largest profiles, daily distribution |
| Successful Processing |
Detailed list of all successfully processed emails |
| Errors |
Detailed list of failed processings |
| Not Overwritten |
Emails for which a task was skipped because of an existing file |
| No Match |
Emails that were excluded by the filter |
| Pending Processings |
Emails that were waiting for processing during the time range (postponed processings) |
Per sheet the columns are similar to the UI log display: profile, tasks, date, sender, subject, status. Detail columns such as specific file paths or error messages are added.
80.3.5 Manual vs. automatic ¶
| Property |
Manual report (this chapter) |
Automatic report (see chapter 40.16) |

Both variants use the same generation logic - the Excel structure is identical.
80.3.6 Use case ¶
Weekly management report
Manually create a report for the previous week every Monday morning, send by email to management. Alternatively configure automatic sending in Program Options -> Excel Report.
80.3.7 Tips ¶
- Date in file name is useful when reports are created regularly - the files do not overwrite each other
