30.11 Date filter

30.11.1 Overview

The date filter checks the received date of the message - the time when it arrived in the mailbox. It limits the processing scope to certain time periods (e.g. “only mails from the last 30 days” or a fixed quarterly range).


30.11.2 Operators

Operator Description
is within the last X Received date is no older than X periods (counted from today)
is older than X Received date is at least X periods old
is between Received date lies between two fixed dates (From/To)

Periods: days, weeks, months, or years.


30.11.3 Fields in the filter editor

For “is within the last” / “is older than”

Field Description
Value Numeric value (e.g. 7)
Period Days / Weeks / Months / Years

Example: 7 days for “last week”, 1 year for “this and last year”.

For “is between”

Field Description
From Start date (inclusive, from 00:00)
To End date (inclusive, until 23:59)

30.11.4 Use cases

Current processing - last 30 days

Received date is within the last 30 days

Useful for a profile that was activated only recently and should ignore older mails.

Quarterly processing

Received date is between 01/01/2026 and 03/31/2026

Processes mails from the first quarter of 2026 only; the date is adjusted for the next quarter.


30.11.5 Tip

  • With the operator is within the last, the calculation is performed from the current point in time - the value shifts daily. With is between, the dates are fixed
