2 Main Menu
2.1 Overview ¶
Open the main menu via the Menu button in the top-left corner of the main window. It bundles the program-wide functions.

2.2 “More” submenu ¶
2.2.1 Create error report ¶
Creates a report file containing the error logs of all program components (main window, monitoring, processing) and places it on the desktop. The result is reported in the status bar. This file helps support with troubleshooting.
2.2.2 Clear error logs ¶
Clears the error log files of all program components after a confirmation.
2.2.3 Back up application data… ¶
Immediately creates a backup of the application data (profiles, options, etc.) as a ZIP file in the configured backup folder and reports the location. You configure the backup folder and automatic backups in the program options (see chapter 40.9).
2.2.4 Restore application data… ¶
Restores the application data from a previously created backup ZIP:
- Select the backup file (ZIP)
- Confirm the safety prompt
- After a successful restore, the program closes - the restored data takes effect on the next start
2.2.5 Create backup for support assistance… ¶
Creates a special backup ZIP for support in which sensitive data is removed (among other things, stored passwords are blanked). Before creating it, the program shows what will be cleaned; you then choose the target file.
2.2.6 Open application data folder ¶
Opens the folder containing the application data (profiles, options, logs) in Windows Explorer.
2.2.7 Clear log database… ¶
After a confirmation, permanently deletes all entries of the processing log (see chapter 80.1). The entry is only enabled when log entries exist.
2.3 Additional buttons next to the menu ¶
To the right of the menu button sits the Guides dropdown: it lists all step-by-step guides (getting started, convert to readable PDFs, print, rename, CSV, SQL database, DATEV, CSV mapping, autostart); each entry opens the respective guide in your default browser.
Depending on the situation, two more buttons can appear:
