With this online tool, you can determine the keyword density of a text or any webpage. The keyword density is often analyzed in the context of measures to Search Engine Optimization (also called SEO). For this purpose, the word frequency (the frequency of a phrase, a group of words or a single word) is counted in relation to the total frequency of all words. It should be noted, however, that the keyword density must not be too high nor too low. The optimal SEO keyword density of a Web page amounts to, depending on other factors, about two percent.

Instructions for using the tool

First, enter the text to be analyzed into the input field. Optionally, you can specify how many words a phrase must at least contain to be evaluated as a keyword. Finally, simply click the button labeled "Calculate Keyword Density" to start the analysis. When finished, all keywords and keyword combinations are clearly listed, sorted in descending order according to their frequency.
