Filled-in forms, stamps, and annotations can still be
changed in a PDF file afterwards - often undesirable
for archiving or sharing. In this tutorial, we set up a
profile that automatically merges such content
permanently into the pages.

First, give the profile a suitable name.

On the Monitored folders page, choose which folder is
watched. Every PDF file that arrives there will be
flattened automatically from now on.

The task appears in the list - there is not much to
configure here, because flattening works fully
automatically.

Both annotations - that is, stamps, watermarks, and
notes - and filled-in form fields are burned in. All
content remains visible, but afterwards it is a fixed
part of the page and can no longer be changed.

files. Alternatively, the original file can be
overwritten directly.
